The PRV Audio 2MR50-NDY is a compact 2″ full-range neodymium speaker engineered to deliver impressive sound quality and high output in applications where space and weight are critical.

Designed for versatility, you can use this speaker in so many different projects. These include portable Bluetooth speakers, soundbars, custom pillars and high-output line array configurations or even the new trend of the mini stuntwall on RC cars.

For DIY enthusiasts and professional system builders, the oversized mounting basket provides additional installation flexibility. This allows the speaker to be mounted either at the front or rear of the enclosure.

Super well balanced frequency response from 125 to 20,000Hz, making this a MR. Do-It-All with high fidelity sound as a midbass, midrange or full-range speaker.

Installation Guide for Car Audio Applications:

4-8 Speakers – 1x MDX400.4 2 Ohm, 1 or 2 speakers per channel

Recommended HPF using PRV Digital Signal Processor DSP when using up to 50 Watts RMS musical power ( without clipping )

  • 150 Hz at 12 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT12
  • 140 Hz at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT18

If you have tweeters on your system the recommended LPF is 9,000 at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT18 but you may set it lower to blend in better depending on the other components in your system, or you may not use a LPF at low power to take advantage of its high frequency response.
