The D250Ti-S high frequency compression driver is an excellent choice for performance and reliability as a replacement or upgrade for many DJ speaker cabinets that use a standard screw-on horn.

Standard 1-3/8″-18 TPI threads make them an easy replacement and upgrade option for many Pro audio cabinets, where manufacturers typically use the cheapest component possible. This driver’s high sensitivity translates into a clearer, more effortless sound than ever before from your speaker cabinet.

The lightweight design makes it easier to transport, which is crucial for mobile sound systems ( DJ Cabinets ) and professional touring systems. It also reduces speaker cabinets’ overall weight, making them more manageable without sacrificing performance. This balance of portability and power makes it the most popular high frequency driver in this segment.

The one-piece titanium diaphragm reduces the amount of moving mass, which enhances the driver’s ability to produce clear and crisp high frequencies.

This configuration allows for an extended high frequency response, making it ideal for applications that demand detailed and accurate sound reproduction. As a result, you can expect clarity and precision in audio output, especially at higher frequencies.

If you are building your own speaker cabinets from scratch, the D250Ti-S works well with 10W650A 10″ woofer, 12W750A 12″ woofer, and 15W700 15″ woofer for two-way speaker designs when used with the PRV Audio 2DF2k 2,000 Hz two-way crossover.

This compression driver is popular with audio enthusiasts due to its small diameter that works with a wide range of small horns. WG23-25 / WG17-25 / WG11-25 / WG08-25

The small diameter of the driver allows for front mounting, making it a very popular choice in car audio builds for its easy installation, without having to detach the driver from the horn.

*Nominal power handling is defined as the maximum RMS power that the speaker can handle in a 2-hour test with a pink noise with 6dB of crest factor and a bandpass filter with 12db/oct tuned in its usable frequency range.

**Continuous Program Power (RMS) is the maximum power that the speaker can handle considering a regular musical program using our recommended filters, this power can be used to define the optimum amplifier power to provide a clean signal without clipping or saturation.
