Warranty Policy

PRV Audio Limited Amplifier Warranty

PRV Audio warrants that all new amplifiers are free from any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal usage for a period not to exceed (1) year from the original purchase date. That is, the date the amplifier leaves the PRV Audio warehouse. This warranty is valid for the original purchaser and is not transferrable. Be prepared to provide receipt of purchase if requested.

If for any reason service is needed to be performed under this warranty, PRV Audio will repair the defective equipment to be returned functioning.

How to return your amplifier for warranty repair

In the event you need to return your PRV Audio amplifier for repair you must first obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. Complete the form below in its entirety. Once the information for the RA request has been received, we will send a reply with instructions to send the defective amplifier for warranty repair, providing it is still within the warranty period.

Please be sure to diagnose your amplifier thoroughly. Amplifiers found to have no defects may be charged return shipping. Pack the amplifier very well to prevent shipping damage. Write your assigned RA number on the outside of the shipping box for identification purposes.

What is not covered under this warranty

  • Amplifiers with missing or broken warranty seals (Amplifiers that have been opened for any reason).
  • Physical damage.
  • Product modification.
  • Fire damage, water damage, lightning strikes or other ‘Acts of God’.
  • Damage caused by excessive clipping.
  • Damage caused by low voltage.
  • Damage from neglect, accident misuse or abuse. Multiple returns for the same damage may be considered abuse.
  • Damage caused by excessive vibration from an improper installation.
  • Melted terminals from poor connections and or low-quality cables.
  • Removal or installation costs associated with obtaining a warranty claim.
  • Return shipping costs for amplifiers found to be functioning properly.
  • Shipping costs to send the amplifier for warranty repair
  • Amplifiers returned without prior authorization
  • Subsequent damage from amplifier malfunction

Warranty claims are normally processed within 3-5 business days of the item arriving at our facility providing that all products and parts are available to perform necessary repairs.

Once you have submitted a return request a service technician will review your submission and contact you if there are any questions concerning your return request. Once a return request has been authorized you will receive an RA number. Do not attempt to return a product until you have received an RA number.
