The 12MR1000 PRO is a high power, and high output 12” midrange from our PRO Series primarily designed to perform in small sealed, horn loaded and vented enclosures, making it the perfect choice for a variety of installations, including professional sound reinforcement, live sound, home audio speakers with high outputs, as well as high SPL car audio.

  • Excellent performance in 3-way systems, with high detailed percussion instruments tones at a high sensitivity of 99 dB
  • Premium paper cone and cloth surround for high clarity, smooth response, and linear excursion at high 1000 Watts RMS program power.
  • 3” Inside/outside wound CCAW voice coil leads on fiberglass former lend solid power handling capability
  • Under spider and rear periphery venting allows cool running voice coil on long-lasting playing sessions.
  • Low Qts means high damping and excellent performance in smaller boxes.

This professional midrange loudspeaker delivers smooth, clear vocals that will impress any listener! Its high efficiency makes it easy to power, all thanks to a specially light weight cone designed to deliver smooth vocals and well define midbass tones.

Cast aluminum frame adds structural integrity, while a paper/glass fiber cone attached to a large 3″ voice coil keeps everything under control at high level outputs, making an easy transition to a high frequency driver.

*Nominal power handling is defined as the maximum RMS power that the speaker can handle in a 2-hour test with a pink noise with 6dB of crest factor and a bandpass filter with 12db/oct tuned in its usable frequency range.

**Continuous Program Power (RMS) is the maximum power that the speaker can handle considering a regular musical program using our recommended filters, this power can be used to define the optimum amplifier power to provide a clean signal without clipping or saturation.

***Max Peak Power is the maximum power operation for the speaker, this power is allowed just for a few fractions of a second, usually found just on the peaks of the music. Keeping this power for a little longer timer will damage the speaker.
