This midrange loudspeaker established the new benchmark for vocal reproduction for outdoor applications, making it ideal for improving the sound system in your boat, UTV, 4 wheeler, Slingshot or Motorcycle.

Due to the premium materials used in its construction, such as a true water resistant cone treatment, a high-temperature voice coil, and a strong neodymium magnet motor, this speaker produces its natural sound with remarkably low distortion.

Aside from its unique appearance, this special treated paper cone is exceptionally light, with unsurpassed vocal definition at an extremely high sound level output.

Unlike another waterproof treatment that does not last outdoors, this treatment gives a heavy duty UV protection to reduce decaying effects from sun rays, giving an armor coat to your speaker against water, humidity and the sun. As a result, this speaker is a premier outdoor PRO audio speaker.

A special treated surround and flat spider suspend the cone and keep it linear through the limits of excursion with minimal restriction, further improving dynamics and transients.

This midrange features many premium components, one of which is stitched lead wires, which connect the voice coil to the terminals through a single layer spider suspension, all being driven by a copper-clad aluminum wire voice coil providing high efficiency and excellent power handling.

Its high energy, rare-earth neodymium motor, combined with other fine materials to deliver the finest details in audio, demanded by most audiophiles in the car audio and motorcycle custom builders.

Its low-mass yet stiff cone produces clean, detailed, high-impact sound reproduction and consistent high output levels in a wide frequency bandwidth between 90 and 10,000 Hz, making an easy transition to a super tweeter.

This mid is perfect for applications where weight and space is limited, such as custom slingshot pods, motorcycle fairings and saddlebags, that make this driver a popular speaker choice among high output car and motorsport audio enthusiasts.

Recommended HPF using PRV Digital Signal Processor DSP when using up to 600 Watts RMS musical power

  • 100 Hz at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT18

Recommended LPF is 10,000 at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / LR18 but you may set it lower to blend in better deepening on the
other components in your system.
