X-treme midrange performance is what PRV Audio’s 8MR600X-NDY is all about.

Made to be a class leading midrange in the pro audio realm, this speaker has a high output sensitivity of 98.5 dB and only weighs 5 pounds. This midrange loudspeaker is optimized for professional audio or (musical instrument) speaker system applications, and large car audio competition systems.

The powerful halo neodymium magnet assembly assures high flux concentration. Its magnetic structure significantly improves thermal connection and heat dissipation. This increases power handling and lowers power compression, with an optimum power to weight ratio.

Capable of high output and low distortion, this midrange is perfect for filling in the significant midrange response in any high output sound system. Great addition to the X-Series.

Extreme car audio enthusiasts will find PRV Audio’s 8MR600X-NDY to be the perfect 8″ midrange door speaker, capable of handling up to 600 watts RMS power (with a suggested 125 Hz, 18 dB/octave high pass filter in place tuned with PRV DSP)!

Its high energy, rare-earth neodymium motor, combined with other fine materials, were chosen to increase sensitivity and power handling to deliver the finest details in audio, as demanded by most audiophiles and custom builders in the car audio.

**Continuous Program Power (RMS) is the maximum power that the speaker can handle considering a regular musical program using our recommended filters, this power can be used to define the optimum amplifier power to provide a clean signal without clipping or saturation.
