A triple roll cloth surround, combined with an optimized fiber pressed paper cone, ensure the speaker’s frequency response is smooth and extends to the high range making an easy transition to a super tweeter, but according to customers, the high-frequency response from this speaker does NOT need support from a tweeter!

Its low-mass yet stiff cone helps provide clean, detailed, high-impact sound reproduction. to ensure the speaker’s extended frequency response to 20,000Hz and strong vocal presence.

You can expect outstanding sound quality and realistic sound reproduction in the smallest profile. There’s no better value in high-performance bullet speakers than the 8MR500-NDY-4 BULLET loudspeaker.

With a shallow and versatile footprint that only measures 3.13” in depth, we’ve designed a midrange loudspeaker that gives you everything you need without sacrificing performance.

The rare-earth neodymium motor combined with other fine materials will resolve the finest details in audio, demanded by car audio and motorcycle custom builders.

Recommended Amplifier configurations and crossover points:

2 Speakers – 1x MDX1200.2 1 Ohm, Bridged both speakers in parallel
4 Speakers – 1x QS2000 1 Ohm, 4 speakers in parallel
Recommended HPF using PRV Digital Signal Processor DSP when using up to 500 Watts RMS musical power

  • 125 Hz at 12 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT12
  • 120 Hz at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT18

If you have a super tweeter on your system the recommended LPF is 9,000 at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / LR18 but you may set it lower to blend in better depending on the other components in your system, or you may not use a LPF at low power to take advantage of its high frequency response.

*Nominal power handling is defined as the maximum RMS power that the speaker can handle in a 2-hour test with a pink noise with 6dB of crest factor and a bandpass filter with 12db/oct tuned in its usable frequency range.

**Continuous Program Power (RMS) is the maximum power that the speaker can handle considering a regular musical program using our recommended filters, this power can be used to define the optimum amplifier power to provide a clean signal without clipping or saturation.
